All in all, it’s unfortunate that the Tasty cookbook was disappointing. Paging through this book is a trite and underwhelming experience. I’ll stick to scrolling through Tasty’s videos instead.
I highly recommend taking a journey ‘In Her Skin’ with this novel. Sit back and enjoy its steady thrum of mystery, suspense, and adrenaline from start to finish.
Consort of Secrets is an excellent addition to the reverse harem romance genre – the male leads are individually varied and equally compelling, leaving the reader with four romance novels for the price of one!
I’m absolutely enamored with this world and its characters. I highly recommend Tempests and Slaughter for anyone who’s a fan of magical schools and young adult literature – including Harry Potter fans.
So even though Fifty Shades Freed was bland, I say thank you, E.L James, AKA Snowqueens Icedragon, for all the love, laughter, and fantastic music these past three years.
Edumacation is like peeking into Andy’s fact-filled brain. It reads less like a scientific tome and more like a conversation with your best friend. It’s light, funny, and you come out of it feeling good about yourself! (Thanks to the publisher for the review copy.)
I highly recommend this book for fans of science fiction and adventure with a splash of romance. Your One & Only is a masterclass novel in world-building with a fresh plot – you won’t find a clone of this book anywhere on the shelves!
A Taxonomy of Love is a wonderful read that does a great job of showing the messiness of friendships during adolescence.
Bardugo failed to capture the magnetic spirit of a young Diana and was further weighted down by a cast of bland characters and an anxiety-inducing homework assignment deadline of a plot. Wonder Woman: Warbringer crumbled under my heavy expectations for Bardugo and for Diana’s character.
I, Tonya is a never-ending cycle of violence without triumph or redemption, and it’s completely demoralizing. I am so thoroughly tired of depictions of violence against women being portrayed as ‘edgy’ and ‘revolutionary.’ Filmmakers should know better, and I’m sick of it.
