Muse Monthly is, without a doubt, my new favorite subscription service! Each month subscribers receive a new book and a tin or box of tea delivered right to their door with this service that is unlike any other on the market.

What I really love about Muse Monthly is the company’s dedication to showcasing debut writers and diverse voices. They work with some great publishers to provide the best in recently released contemporary adult fiction. The 100 Year Miracle, which came in my box, was published within the last two months, on May 24, 2016.

Another aspect of note for Muse Monthly is that you know what you’re getting in your box when you order it. They have already announced on Twitter what the theme for August will be, which helps those on the fence decide whether or not to subscribe for a month.

With a starting price of $21 + shipping costs, it is extremely affordable and is less pricey than similar subscription box services even when accounting for shipping. The amount of loose leaf tea I received will last me the entire month and it was so good.

There is also an online shop where you can buy one-time products, like the tea that comes in the boxes, the books alone, and a bunch of cute mugs, among other things. I had a difficult time picking a favorite before finally deciding on one.

One thing to keep in mind when ordering this subscription box is that the loose teas do not come with a tea ball strainer or tea filters, so if you don’t already have the supplies for loose leaf tea, it’s time to invest!

What are you waiting for? Check out Muse Monthly for yourself. For bookworms and tea nerds alike, I can’t recommend their Twitter or their blog loudly enough to do them justice.
