With the beginning of May comes the annual season of renewals and cancellations from the television networks. ABC announced their cancellations and renewals earlier tonight, and for the most part it seems many fan favorites are safe from the chopping block, with the exception of a few shows.
While the fate of Last Man Standing is still undecided, ABC’s renewal notices for the majority of their shows have been handed out. We’re very excited to see freshman series Marvel’s Agent Carter and Fresh Off the Boat renewed for season 2. Some old favorites are holding their place too, including Modern Family, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle (without a show runner, after the departure of David Amann), and Once Upon a Time.
Shows that will not live to see the night of a new season were predicted pretty early on by most media and fans will have to say goodbye to Forever, Revenge, Resurrection, and Cristela.
