Who says cozy murder mysteries are dead? Not in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, where the citizens are plagued week after week by suspicious deaths. Enter The Marlow Murder Club, led by retired archaeologist Judith (Samantha BondJames Bond), alongside dog walker Suzie (Jo MartinDoctor Who) and the vicar’s wife, Becks (Cara HorganTraitors). Luckily for Marlow, these three intelligent women bend most police rules and use their wit, skills, and resources to solve these shady murders on their own.

For season two, Nerdophiles had the pleasure of speaking with Horgan about Becks balancing the three M’s this season: Murder, Marriage, and Motherhood—and about how their growing relationship with Investigator DS Tanika Malik (Natalie Dew, Sandylands) gets complicated now that the women are assisting in a slightly more official capacity.
