It’s the second day of New York Comic Con and boy is it a doozy! We’ve got some huge panels to attend today, so make sure to get in line early. For those of you headed over to the theater at Madison Square Garden, make sure you know your route and how to get there and back! Also today is definitely the day to keep off of the floor, it’ll be the most crowded today and tomorrow, so head on over to some panels for fun and make sure to bring a portable charger.

Big BBC fans will rave and haul themselves down to the theater to see some of the biggest stars of BBC America. See the newest Doctor Who companion, Pearl Mackie, along with stars from Class and Dirk Gently.
MARVEL: 50 Years of Black Panther — 11:00AM-12:00PM Room 1A06
Since the introduction of Black Panther into the MCU, he’s been my absolute favorite new recruit. But he’s been an inspirational symbol for half a decade, and go to this awesome panel to hear some of the contributors to the Black Panther character pay tribute to him.
Inside the Upside Down with Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour — 11:00AM-12:00PM Main Stage 1-D
I don’t know a single person who didn’t binge Stranger Things. The Netflix sensation has swept the internet and the stars of the show who play Eleven and Chief Hopper are here to dish out some secrets and stories.
Sweet/Vicious — 12:30pm-1:30pm Room 1A10
MTV is bringing another one of their up-and-coming shows to NYCC. With their whole cast, they are coming to talk about their new show that deals with two girls who become wannabe vigilantes trying to bring justice to those who get away with abuse on college campuses.
Elementary — 1:00PM-2:15PM Hammerstein Ballroom
The duo is back for another season, as CBS brings leads Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu back to NYCC to discuss the next season of Elementary. The panel will also have an exclusive screening along with a Q&A.
Screen Gems – Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Underworld: Blood Wars — 1:30PM-2:30PM The Theater at Madison Square Garden
Who has two thumbs and is massively excited for these two movies? That’s right Alice and Selene are back and I am so hyped. You can’t help but enjoy the Resident Evil film series and the Underworld film series for being some of the best guilty pleasure movies since uncooked cookie dough. To see them come back and bring Milla Jovovich and Kate Beckinsale is just all too much.
Asian Pacific American Comics and Culture — 4:15PM-5:15PM Room 1A05
If you know anything about me, you know that I am all about this panel. As an Asian American, I love any panel that not only celebrates my culture but also embraces the nerdy and geeky side of it. This is a panel you just can’t miss!
Hulu’s Shut Eye — 4:15PM-5:15PM Room 1A10
Hulu is bringing some of their brand new original content to NYCC and this includes Shut Eye, an interesting new show about the world of psychics. Join the cast and creator for a panel as they discuss this new project.
Once Upon a Time — 4:15PM-5:15PM Hammerstein Ballroom
In what I’m sure will be a surprise filled panel, the creators and star of Once Upon a Time come and talk about the new season of their ABC show, they discuss evolving characters and the return of the Evil Queen. Also some surprises seem to be in store, so this is a can’t miss for OUAT fans!
STARZ Presents: Black Sails — 5:30PM-6:30PM Room 1A10
We’re not going to talk about how devastating last season was, and how I need some retribution for this final season of Black Sails. STARZ brings their cast to talk about the show and give a little sneak peek into season 4.
IDW & SyFy Present: Wynonna Earp — 6:30PM-7:30PM Room 1A21
If you’re not watching Wynonna Earp, what are you even doing with your life? Stars Melanie Scrofano and Tim Rozon appear alongside showrunner Emily Andras and comic creator Beau Smith for an awesome panel that talks about what we’ll be seeing in the upcoming season 2 along with some other sneak peeks!
Hip-Hop & Comics: Cultures Combining — 6:45PM-7:45PM Room 1A10
I just can’t wait for this panel. I love hip-hop and it’s integration into comics, especially in the recent projects like Suicide Squad and Luke Cage. Sound and music plays such a pivotal role, and comic creators will talk about how it is incorporated into their works.
Moving Beyond the Strong Female Character — 6:45PM-7:45PM Room 1A18
You’ve heard me rail on and on about this topic again and again, and I am psyched to see this as a real panel at NYCC this year. It’s all about having well-written, fully-developed female characters, who aren’t just about being “strong”. I’m very excited for this panel.
Marvel Television Presents: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Ghost Rider — 7:30PM-8:45PM Main Stage 1-D
I have such a sour relationship with this show, but it’s something I indulge in and there’s nothing more entertaining than watching Jeph Loeb man a panel. Along with a short panel, they’ll also be showing an all new episode of the show at the panel!
It was one of my favorite shows last year, and I am excited for it to return this year, Humans show a near future in which artificial intelligence and artificial life become a part of our every day. If you haven’t checked out this show yet, you definitely should.
