Unboxing: Sci-Fi Block May 2016 Nerd Block

I’m a sucker for books, so when the email went out that the Sci-Fi Block would include a 60th anniversary edition of Fahrenheit 451 (one of those books you always mean to pick up, but never remember when you’re standing in the bookstore), it gave me the perfect excuse to try out this niche Nerd Block.

Subscribers were also promised three Star Wars related items, as well as items from Star Trek and Futurama. You can watch the video above, or click on the pictures below to check out what specifically was in the box.

I would say my favorite item, after the book, would probably be the Chewbacca koozie. Despite my love of Funko, the ReAction figures and Wacky Wobblers aren’t my favorite lines from the company – and as pretty as Daisy Ridley is, I don’t know what they did with the face on that Wobbler. I’ll probably pass off the bumper sticker and find somewhere to tack up the Futurama print though.

All in all, I’m pretty happy with the quality of the products offered in Nerd Block’s Sci-Fi Block and the May 2016 Block. With all of the hints given each month about what franchises are going to be included, it makes it easy to know whether or not the items in the block will interest you.
