With Sundance 2024 kicking off this week, there are several dynamic films and talks to look forward to! Chase Sapphire on Main (CSOM) has been a staple year after year to celebrate the creativity & inclusivity of the Sundance Film Festival and all of its incredible titles. 

This year’s  CSOM’s itinerary does not disappoint; take a look at some of the incredible artist conversations, performances, and culinary experiences you can expect:

FRIDAY, 1/19 – TUESDAY, 1/23

– General Chase Sapphire on Main entry, available to all Reserve cardmembers who show their card at the door.

FRIDAY, 1/19 

  • 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (doors open at 11 a.m.), Panel for The Outrun 
    • Details: Please enter on main floor of Chase Sapphire on Main; the event will be held on the lower level 
    • Moderator: LA Times Film Editor Joshua Rothkopf 
    • Panel Participants: Actor, Producer Saoirse Ronan, Director, Writer Nora Fingscheidt and Author Amy Liptrot (the film is adapted from her memoir) 
    • Film Synopsis: After living life on the edge in London, Rona attempts to come to terms with her troubled past. She returns to the wild beauty of Scotland’s Orkney Islands, where she grew up, hoping to heal. Adapted from Amy Liptrot’s bestselling memoir. 
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Chef Melissa King Menu Takeover 
    • Details: Chef Melissa King will present four dishes in CSOM throughout the weekend, including Hong Kong-style French toast and mini Cali breakfast burritos for brunch, and Mala lamb skewers (+vegetarian option available) and scallion pancakes with labneh and chili crisp for the afternoon.  
      • Cardmembers will have the opportunity for a meet & greet with her as well. 
      • Chef Melissa King also advised on the overall CSOM menu, plus there will be live-popped popcorn at CSOM on Friday and Saturday featuring her signature Mala spice sprinkled on top. 

SATURDAY, 1/20

    • Film Synopsis: An upcoming comedy that catalogues the intriguing life of Elliott Labrant. Elliott, armed with wisdom from her future self, is determined not to fall in love. However, her conviction wavers when she encounters the very boy she’s been forewarned about.
