Every convention has a Sunday and it typically signals the end. Never fear though, because Sundays at New York Comic Con still have a lot to offer. While you’ll probably still contend with crowds, you can take a break in one of these awesome panels. 

Be sure to check out Artist’s Alley before you leave, too. Give some love to creators out there doing the hustle. 

Riverdale Exclusive Sneak Peek and Q&A
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM @ Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

Hang out with the cast of Riverdale and get a sneak peak into the new season. The team is on a mission to #FreeArchie after his (spoiler) arrest in the previous season. You’ll also get to be one of the first to see at least part of the first episode of the new season. 

Talks Machine with the Cast of Critical Role
10:45 AM – 11:45 AM @ Main Stage 1-D

We love Critical Role and if you’re looking for me tomorrow, this is where I’ll be. Join Brian W. Foster as he leads most of the Critical Role cast in a discussion about the previous episode played out at the live show! 

Gotham Special Video Presentation and Q&A
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM @ The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

Likely your last chance to see the cast of Gotham, fans won’t want to miss this panel. Join the stars for a special video presentation followed by a Q&A to get all your final questions answered. 

Brave Warriors Powered by Entertainment Weekly
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM @ Shop Studios, Level 3 – 528 W 39th St

John Bowman, Josh Dallad, Joel De La Fuente, and Jason Lewis will be joining entertainment weekly for a lively discussion about the work they’re currently doing. This would be a good one for anyone with acting interests who might want to pick their brains (though I’m surprised this panel is lacking women). This is free for anyone with a Sunday NYCC badge. 

What We Do In The Shadows
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM @ Hammerstein Ballroom

The boys are back in town! Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, and Paul Simms are bringing back their socially awkward vampires. Come catch a sneak peak screening followed by a no doubt hilarious Q&A from the crazy minds behind it. 

From Page to Screen: Netflix’s Hilda
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM @ Room 1A21

Bound to charm you, Hilda is a new animated series from Netflix based on a children’s graphic novel series of the same name. You can join the creator and head writer as they discuss what it was like taking the book and bringing it to life in animated form. 

The Gifted
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM @ Main Stage 1-D Presented by Verizon

Join the cast of Fox’s The Gifted as they recount the first season and talk about what is next for their rag-tag gang of mutants. Creator Matt Nix will be joining a number of cast members on the stage to answer your questions and share about the show. 

Charmed Exclusive Screening and Panel
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM @ Hammerstein Ballroom

Don’t miss the reboot of the iconic Charmed series. It follows three sisters living in a college town, after they lose their mother, discover they are witches. From there, chaos ensues and they must learn how to navigate the world with their newfound abilities. Join the cast for a sneak peak and panel discussion.

Marvel Animation Presents
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM @ Room 1A10

Cort Lane, Marvel’s SVP of Animation and Family Entertainment will be announcing updates on a number of Marvel animated series. Fans will also get a sneak-peek at the new season of Marvel Super Hero Adventure Shorts

Doctor Who – BBC America Official Panel
1:45 PM – 2:45 PM @ Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

She’s here! Jodie Whittaker has popped up at New York Comic Con to talk about her new role as the iconic Doctor. Join her, the show runner, and executive producer as they screen the first episode of the new season and talk about it afterward!

Twilight 10th Anniversary Panel
2:15 PM – 3:15 PM @ Main Stage 1-D Presented by Verizon

It is weird to think that Twilight is only ten years old. It feels like it has cemented itself into fandom history. Join director Catherine Hardwicke as well as some special guests as they discuss the saga and reminisce together. 

NYCC Team Q&A
3:45 PM – 4:45 PM @ Room 1B03

Every year the New York Comic Con team wants to improve the show. This is one of the ways fans and attendees can give valuable feedback that can be used at the next show. If you’ve got something to say, this is the time and place to say it. 

Lion Forge Presents: Representation in Graphic Storytelling – from the Comic Shop to the Tabletop
3:45 PM – 4:45 PM @ Room 1A02

Lion Forge’s very own Steenz will moderate a diverse panel of comic book creators to discuss the importance of representation in story telling. They did a similar panel at San Diego Comic Con which yielded a rich discussion, so we’re looking forward to what the new panelists have to say.

The Tick
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Room 1A06

The Tick returns to New York Comic Con to talk about the upcoming season and what is in store for Tick and Arthur. Join the whole stinkin’ crew as they talk about what fans have to look forward to. We hear there will likely be footage of the new season for your viewing pleasure.
