We’re only 73 days away from San Diego Comic Con 2017 and even though many of us still don’t have our Hotelpocalypse results yet, time waits for no one!

This year, we’ve tried to ease everyone into SDCC Sundays with a helpful post full of tips and considerations in January, February, March, and April. Now, it’s time to really dig into the news with a weekly SDCC post leading up to the big event! Every Sunday we’ll be posting a new or updated article centered around helping you have the best convention yet!

First, stop by our (now-dated, but still) wildly popular article looking at an East Coaster’s costs when attending SDCC. Then, take a trip down memory lane with our staff and read about some of our biggest regrets and best moments from a variety of past conventions!

We’ve got the scoop on how to get the perfect shot with your smartphone, as well as lessons learned over six years of attending San Diego Comic Con or why we find San Diego Comic Con to be so unique compared to other conventions, and our ode to the Hilton Bayfront, which we’re still waiting on to hear if that’s our hotel for this year (fingers crossed!). And while they haven’t started mailing out badges yet this year, remember this was what the envelop looked like last year – start scrutinizing your mail soon!

To kick off the series, we’re looking back at previous year’s articles to get us pumped up for San Diego Comic Con 2017!
