Yesterday it was announced that Insurgent – the sequel to Divergent – is going to be released in 3D which is pretty exciting news if you’re a fan of watching movies in 3D. More importantly, though, is the fact that Lionsgate has released a collection of 8 poster awesome 3D posters featuring various different characters in order to promote the film.
These aren’t lame, static posters. (Who even uses those anymore?) No, these are interactive 3D posters that you can play around with in your browser. And Nerdophiles has them all collected here for you to see!
My personal favourite is Tori’s poster. Everything about it is just freakin’ bad ass. Check it – and the others – below. The shatter effect is pretty cool and the characters rotate like models.
As far as promo materials go, I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more of these types of posters.
