It examines the corrupt judicial system’s unfair bias toward the Black community, follows community organizers and attorneys fighting for change, and shows how innocent young Black boys can quickly become suspects in crimes that have nothing to do with them.

Watch our sit-down interview with actress Andrene Ward-Hammond who portrays Norma Johnson, a mother of two sons that get swept up in a series of unfortunate events. We talk about Black motherhood, portrayals of Black women in media, the heaviness of the role, and so much more!
