Don’t miss this expert-driven panel.
You might have to miss the History and Future of Star Trek Novels panel, but it just might be worth it to watch the induction ceremony for the new Star Trek themed USPS stamps that will be coming to a post office near you later in September. For now, the attendees at Star Trek: Mission NY get the exclusive lowdown on these crazy cool 50th anniversary stamps and the chance to pick up a couple books for their collections!
Bringing the Star Trek Universe to Xbox One and Playstation 4 – Meet the team behind Star Trek Online – 1:30PM-2:30PM
If you are a general fan of mmorpgs, you will not want to miss this panel. Talk with the Devs about what went into the creation of the game, then head to the exhibitor floor to check out the test console they have available.
Come check out this panel moderated by Mark A. Altman (Librarians, Castle) as he and the panel members discuss the use of humor in Star Trek, and how that humor has wormed its way into popular culture as a whole.
COPD: Highly Illogical – A Special Tribute to Leonard Nimoy a New Film by Julie Nimoy and David Knight – 3PM-4:30PM
The loss of Leonard Nimoy was felt by all fans, and there continues to be a hole in the Star Trek fandom that he used to fill. His daughter, Julie Nimoy, will talk about the film she has worked on to bring awareness to COPD, a disease which effects as many as 30 million Americans.
Come learn about everything that went into creating the early days of Starfleet, and listen to cast members recount their experiences from the show.
The Evolution of Star Trek’s Fandom – 5:30PM-6:30PM

Come learn about the dense history behind the scenes of Star Trek as the panel members discuss early fandom, from fanzines and novelizations, to now.
IDW and the Wonderful World of Trek Comics – 6:45PM-7:15PM
