You might have to miss the History and Future of Star Trek Novels panel, but it just might be worth it to watch the induction ceremony for the new Star Trek themed USPS stamps that will be coming to a post office near you later in September. For now, the attendees at Star Trek: Mission NY get the exclusive lowdown on these crazy cool 50th anniversary stamps and the chance to pick up a couple books for their collections!

Bringing the Star Trek Universe to Xbox One and Playstation 4 – Meet the team behind Star Trek Online – 1:30PM-2:30PM

COPD: Highly Illogical – A Special Tribute to Leonard Nimoy a New Film by Julie Nimoy and David Knight – 3PM-4:30PM

The loss of Leonard Nimoy was felt by all fans, and there continues to be a hole in the Star Trek fandom that he used to fill. His daughter, Julie Nimoy, will talk about the film she has worked on to bring awareness to COPD, a disease which effects as many as 30 million Americans.

It’s Been a Long Road: Meet the Cast of Star Trek: Enterprise – 5PM-6PM

Come learn about everything that went into creating the early days of Starfleet, and listen to cast members recount their experiences from the show.

The Evolution of Star Trek’s Fandom – 5:30PM-6:30PM

Star Trek could arguably be the first mainstream fandom to have come into existence, and if it weren’t for the early dedicated fans, the series may have never lived on to be the success we all know it to be. Come learn about the dense history behind the scenes of Star Trek as the panel members discuss early fandom, from fanzines and novelizations, to now.

IDW and the Wonderful World of Trek Comics – 6:45PM-7:15PM

Come hang out with Chris Ryall, Publishing Editor in Chief of IDW publishing, and a few other panelists as they discuss the world of Star Trek comics.
