A new trailer for Super Smash Bros. dropped yesterday, and it made me scream like the Fire Emblem fan girl I am. I’ve been crossing my fingers for a female sword fighter in the new smash since day one, but I never really imagined that  I would also be seeing this:

Alongside my falchion-toting future warrior princess. This is incredible news for all Nintendo fans. Coming in with these two new additions they decided to confirm the existence of Captain Falcon and all of his meme punching goodness for the next iteration of the fan-favourite series. Nintendo once again manages to gracefully exploit the desires of the fans to print money, and salvage some sales in the process. All of the trailer footage appears to be taken from the Wii U build of the game in an obvious bid to advertise the system. And if I have to be honest, it’s working on me. I just went on Amazon and checked out the price of a new Wii U. As much as I love my 3DS , this game needs to be played on a big screen with a real controller.

Who are you most excited to play in the new SSB?

  1. The newcomers I’m looking forward to the most are Rosalina and Greninja. I played both of them at Best Buy’s Smash Fest and they were so much fun.

  2. Ilike the valuable info you provide in ykur articles.
