Now, I’m as big a fan of geeky webseries as the next nerd, but the upcoming webseries “Spooked” in particular has caught the attention of the folks over here at Nerdophiles. Executively produced by Bryan Singer (X-Men) and Felicia Day (Supernatural), “Spooked” follows the self-dubbed Paranormal Investigation Team (aka the PITs) on their hunt for all things ghost related. As “Spooked Preview Week” wraps up over at Geek & Sundry, enjoy these new stills and trailer from this month’s brand new ghost hunter comedy.

Described as a series about “a paranormal comedy about a ragtag group of ghost hunters,” the webseries’s trailer had me laughing, and if it’s anything like “The Guild” (created by the same minds), it’s sure to evolve into a new fan favorite. “Spooked” follows the story of protagonist Connor, played by Julian Curtis (Captured), and also stars Ashley Johnson (The Avengers), Neil Grayston (Eureka), Derek Mio (Greek), and Shyloh Oostwald (In Time). The talent behind the show in combination with its unique twist on the ghost hunter genre is reason enough to give this paranormal parody a watch.

Hilarity will undoubtedly ensue as the "Spooked" team investigates the paranormal in the cheapest way possible.

Don’t miss the trailer and new stills below, and be sure to head over to Geek & Sundry this week to check out this promising new webseries. “Spooked” premieres on Hulu and YouTube on Wednesday, June 4th at 10am PT/ 1pm ET.

  1. I like the idea, I’ve only just started watching Supernatural and I recently watched the first episode co-starring Felicia Day, and I thought at the time Id like to see a spin-off series about a bunch of geeks/nerds facing down vampires and demons and the rest of Supernaturals big bads. It would appeal to me, but maybe not a wider audience.
