Better Call Saul

The highly anticipated Breaking Bad spinoff (from the same writers) takes place 6 years before Saul Goodman met Walter White. Though that doesn’t rule out any future appearances from Bryan Cranston’s meth kingpin, Bob Odenkirk’s sleazy lawyer is reason enough to watch. Watch as Goodman becomes “the man who puts ‘criminal’ in ‘criminal lawyer.’” Better Call Saul premieres February 8th at 10 p.m.

Rose McIver (Masters of Sex, Once Upon a Time) stars as Olivia “Liv” Moore, a college student turned semi-zombie whose appetite for brains proves useful in solving murders. From Veronica Mars’ Rob Thomas and based on the Vertigo comic of the same name, iZombie premieres March 17th at 9 p.m.

The Messengers

There’s a lot going on in this trailer and it looks a bit darker than what the CW usually puts out, but I’m willing to give it a shot. The network has a history of creating interesting genre shows (like fan-favorite The 100, or the wildly popular Arrow). The Messengers premieres April 10th at 9 p.m

Penny Dreadful

I haven’t gotten around to season one of Penny Dreadful, but this trailer makes me feel like I should catch up immediately. Season two of Showtime’s Victorian horror premieres on April 26th.

House of Cards

“This is just the beginning of my revenge…” Kevin Spacey told the audience at the Golden Globes, as he won Best Actor for his work as the always terrifying Frank Underwood. Spacey looks as intensely scary as ever in the season three trailer for the Netflix hit, which returns with 13 new episodes on February 27th.
