New Yorkers and fans of cute things everywhere – there’s an event just for you this weekend at Rockefeller Center. PIQ, one of our favorite designer toy, game, and all around geek shops, is opening up their newest location. To celebrate they have a number of exciting events and creator spotlights throughout the weekend.

Rilakkuma the bear will be available for photo ops and general cuteness on Friday, September 8th and Saturday, September 9th from 11am to 4pm on the concourse level of Rockefeller Center. As if that wasn’t sweet enough, anyone who visits between now and September 15th will have a chance to pick up the exclusive PIQ artist button of the day. These include great artists like Peter Kato, Andrea Kang, and the work of Horrible Adorables

We are most excited for the Horrible Adorables button release on Tuesday, September 12th, because there will be a chance to win a one-of-a-kind sketch from Jordan Elise. She’s one of the amazing artists we had a chance to interview at Five Points Festival back in the spring.

Looking for more? PIQtoo is giving away full sets of the buttons in an Instagram contest during the grand opening festivities. Tag your pics with the hashtag #PIQtoo to enter for a chance to win one of three button sets.
