We are really loving these Disney inspired cocktails done by Cody from Cocktails by Cody. Cody’s based in Spokane, WA, so those of you out in Spokane should totally take advantage of his services! Good thing, for out-of-towners, that he’s written down and documented some of his creations. Most notably the Disney cocktails. I’ve seen these cocktails floating around through Tumblr and I thought they would be a perfect addition to an adult themed Disney party.

Specific instructions can be found on his Facebook about ratios and garnishes, but for now, check out these delicious treats! (We added some of his instructions that we could find, but they can all be found as captions in his photos on Facebook!)

He did a 1:2 ratio of Booze:Mixer, but it could also be made to taste depending on people's preferences.

We're guessing equal parts of each liquor, shaken over ice because she has an ice cold heart? (I know little to nothing about mixing cocktails, drinking cocktails however...)

To get the layered effect, pour in Hypnotiq first. Then mix Kinky with Sprite and pour it in slowly and controlled. It should separate out! (I'm going to try it, so I guess I'll find out!)

There aren't any instructions on this, but I assume we pour in one liquor after another in a controlled fashion? Also suggestions on black vodka seem to be Blavod?

Our guess is keep to the 1:2 ratio, drizzle some chocolate syrup around the edge Starbucks-style, and top with whipped cream and cherry!

It may be for the testosterone-inclined, but I am looking at this one with a lot of interest. Assuming 1:2 ratio again. And top with... cherries? Not very brawny, though I guess if he likes popping them?

Each liquor is blended with ice and then layered with some Swedish fish on top? I'm guessing. This would be perfect for kids if you replace the booze with some fruit juice!

Not sure if the liquor separated on its own or if it's not mixed or if it's just the glass, but I think for the sake of appearance it's not mixed. I'd say same ratio here with 1:2 with some curly? licorice in grape. I'm not sure where to get this fabled licorice but it sure looks cool.

Three in one! Apparently Fair Maiden is quite a challenge to layer, but pour some Sprite in with the Pineapple juice at first and then slowly add in the Curacao is how I'm going to interpret his description. Grumpy looks like equal parts of liquor with optional!cream. Then Evil to the Core is 1:2 for Booze to Liquor!

It seems like this one is more of a "mix until you get the color right" sort of ratio, probably while adhering to the 1:2 mixing guidelines. Gold sprinkles at bottom and rim for garnish!

I love this one! The orange peel is suppose to be the cobra head! He likes Myers Rum for the dark rum and I'm assuming the grenadine might have to be mixed with some Sprite for the layering effect? Dark rum and pineapple juice seem to be a 1:2.

Seems like Golden God is just Angry Orchard with a shot of Apple Vodka and Goldschlager, which sounds delicious. Weak Ankles for Meg sounds great, but Mio is definitely a concentrated formula, so I'm assuming you drip it until the color looks right?

This one looks deadly and fun. Bottom is Hypnotiq and Mio, then the middle is Black Vodka with some Sprite, and then some 151 on top to light on fire!

So glad he chose Cherry Sake and not some kind of painfully strong rice wine. This seems to follow the same 1:2 ratio, but the syrup is throwing me off. I might add the juice from a lychee can if I am putting in the lychee as a garnish. Is that actually the syrup? Mushu's shot looks deadly and painful, but I could probably con someone into drinking it like the free habanero shot I got for my birthday. Not sure about the ratios, but it seems like a bit of sriracha and then sprinkled in some pepper.

This one actually looks great, and sounds delicious. Equal parts sake and ginger liqueur for the shot, and you can choose ginger apple cider if you prefer. A great idea for an alternative sake bomb!

Don’t take my ratios too seriously, it’s what I’m garnering from the Facebook comments and captions. I’m assuming he’s coming out with more before he releases all the official ratios, and I totally hope he does. I would love to see Elsa (below) and Anna, Alice (below) and the Queen of Hearts (below), Esmerelda and Frollo, Pocahontas!! (below), Tiana (below) and DEFINITELY Doctor Facilier (below). Also even if she’s not a Disney princess, what about Anastasia? She and Rasputin are both Russians so I’d expect a TON of vodka. I definitely recommend go checking out this talented mixologist/potion master.

People of Spokane who are looking for a mixologist to hire should contact him through his info here. If I had enough cash, I’d fly him out just to mix drinks for my birthday!

EDIT (2/21/2014)

New drinks! I guess I’ll be periodically updating this for the new drinks that Cody updates

It looks like this is equal parts St. Germaine and Pear Vodka with champagne to top it off. It's garnished with a nice little lily inside!

This looks like equal amounts of each, with caramel at the bottom to make it look like her tattoo, and then come cinnamon dusted at the top!

Muddle some mint with raspberries, and then add in the Merlot with a shot of Chambord? I feel like there wouldn't be too much Chambord, but I've yet to know for sure.

Equal parts raspberry vodka with chocolate liqeur with cream to make it perfectly smooth is my best guess. The dots are fixated chocolate chips and maybe some cocoa dusted on the top?

This looks DELICIOUS. I want to say muddle some citrus (maybe more peel than pulp?) and mint together, add in iced green tea with a shot of gin. He recommends honey vodka as a substitute for gin if you are not juniperly inclined.

Red Queen looks like equal parts liqueur to three parts blood orange juice, with sugar on the rim and a cherry. Curious Cat seems to be a shot of 3 Olives' (Fruit) Loopy Vodka topped off with sprite and a couple drops of berry Mio.

He said this is a play on a caramel appletini, so I would say it's one part Apple Pucker, one part Hennessey, half part (is that a thing?) of Butterscotch, and fill the rest with cider. To lighten it up, he suggests nixing the Hennessey and trading hard cider for apple juice with a splash of vanilla vodka. The spiderwebs inside is black licorice.

How did I miss this one!? This looks like a 1:1:3 with white chocolate liqueur, peppermint schnapps, and the mixer as milk, then with a splash of the malibu to accent the coconut on the rim!

Looks like a simple 1:1:3 ratio mix with the Mt. Dew and some gummy worms as a garnish!

This is a layered drink with jello shots as the two bottom layers! The orange layer is a mixture of creme de banana and orange vodka? He says it's a banana and pineapple mix but I want to say that the orange vodka is what goes in the bottom layer. The middle layer is malibu rum, and finally some blue curacao poured on top. I don't even know where to find coconut jello, but I could see maybe a mix of coconut milk, gelatin, and malibu? I'm at a loss, but that is my best guess.

So, I am definitely not a mixologist and I haven’t had a chance to try out these new drinks, so I did my best to guess about the ratios!

I am so excited about the four new updates that he added. I absolutely love Lion King, it’s one of my favorite movies, and The Princess and The Frog is right up there on the list. I have been waiting for Dr. Facilier, so I am excited to try Bad Juju. Bayou Beauty and No Worries both look so refreshing and tasty!

Mix white rum with ginger liqueur and what I feel like must be cucumber juice? Either that or just slices of cucumber as garnish? I need to try this to make sure.

This is a combination of a shot of dark rum (he recommends Meyers), a shot of passion fruit rum, and mixed with pineapple juice. It's layered and inspired by a hurricane. Garnish with a voodoo strawberry!

A shot of peach vodka, a shot of amaretto, mixed with three shots of orange juice and shaken. Garnish with mango, blood orange, and some pineapple. I almost want to blend the mango in with the liquor for a smoothie.

A shot of Kahlua, shot of salted caramel vodka, shot of vanilla Bailey's mixed with three of some strong coffee. Garnish with some whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

  1. I did Sleepong Beauty last night and i found that the Kinky should be poured FIRST and THEN Hypnotiq. I made 3 drinks: 1 I poured as directed and the other 2 i did tje opposite way and found doing it opposite had the effect it was supposed to have.

  2. Hello,
I’m from Australia and we can’t purchase Kinky here. What would be a substitute for it?
    Thank you 🙂
